ROB SUNDERLAGE

Civil Engineer

Rob joined BVA in November of 2021 as a Civil Engineer. He was born in Minnesota and lived in the Midwest (Nebraska, Michigan) until the age of 15 when he moved to Utah. Rob attended Brigham Young University and graduated in Civil/Environmental Engineering in 1997. While in school, he met and married his wife Wendy Whitney; an Arizonan that still misses the warmth starting every November. He moved to Portland, Oregon for 7 years where the 2 youngest of his 4 children were born. (Olive, Ingrid, Greta, and August) (Our oldest, Olive recently gave us our first granddaughter - Freya.)

Throughout his career as a civil engineer, he has worked for PSOMAS, Don Cushing Associates. Alpha Community Development, and Horrocks Engineers focusing on land development and municipal engineering.

While not working - he can be found spending time in the mountains, playing music with his daughters, or searching for the next best place to eat. His winters and spring are spent backcountry skiing and the rest of the year includes biking, running, and hiking/climbing (And most recently discovering enduro moto.)
